Clear polycarbonate top and white polypropylene bottom have added strength to eliminate danger of implosion at full vacuum. The desiccator will hold a vacuum of 740 mm of Hg (29") for a period of 24 hours. Polypropylene stopcock has a TeflonŽ plug which turns easily, allowing slow entrance of air to prevent unnecessary turbulence. Supplied with a perforated polypropylene plate to rest on the retaining ledge.
