This calibrator quickly and conveniently tests pH meters, recorders, and other instruments with millivolt input levels. When a pH meter gives erroneous readings, most likely the problem lies with the electrode. To be sure, this instrument can test and calibrate a pH meter by simulating the electrode signal from 0 to 14 pH in increments of 2 pH units. A high-low impedance switch helps determine if the instrument's high impedance has been compromised and also allows calibration of lower impedance recorders and meters.
