Tygon tubing formulation R-3603 with extra heavy walls will withstand a full vacuum at normal room temperatures and up to 27 inches (68.6 cm) of vacuum at 140°F (60°C). Has higher density than rubber. Non-aging, non-oxidizing, will not harden, chip, flake or lose its flexibility. Glass clear, chemically inert, the tubing can be used in corrosive atmospheres, will not swell closed if vacuum pump oil should happen to back up into it.
