The stainless steel tongs are 13 inches long and are designed to handle beakers of 100 mL to 1500 mL capacity. The handles extend beyond the finger holes so that the entire weight of the beaker and its contents is supported by the palm of the hand and not by the fingers. The jaws are 1 inch wide and are covered with fiberglass.
