A newly redesigned hand held waterproof thermometer that uses a K-type sensor together with an advanced microprocessor to deliver accurate temperature measurement with an extraordinary 1600 hour battery life. New dual-level LCD displays the current temperature along with the minimum and maximum extremes achieved during the session. A "HOLD" button records readings on the HI935005. Use the HI935005N for even greater accuracy. A "CAL" button allows the user to reduce the probe error by calibrating in an ice bath at 0°C. Ranges for both meters are -50 to 199.9°C or -58 to 399.9 °F and 200 to 1350°C or 400 to 2462 °F. ± 0.2% full scale. Both models feature selectable auto-shutoff. HI935005N also features a user activated backlight for low or no light conditions, Both are supplied complete with wrist-strap, 3 x 1.5V AA batteries and instruction manual.
