Maxitip P (positive displacement) for 1 to 10 mL, comes complete with piston and barrel tip. It is recommended for most applications and viscous solutions. Maxitip S (air displacement) for 2.5 to 10 mL includes the upper piston and barrel with a disposable 170mm long autoclavable tip for easy access to bottles or narrow-neck vessels. It is recommended for dispensing liquids with high vapor pressure or high density. A graduated Maxitip G attaches in place of Maxitip S and is used as a reference for proper volume adjustment when pipetting nonaqueous liquids.
