Constant temperature bath for kinematic viscosity testing of petroleum products. Conforms to ASTM D445, D6074, D6158; IP 71; ISO 3104; DIN 51550. Accommodates six round 51mm (2") diameter viscometer holders. Bath temperature stabilizes within ±0.5°C (±1°F) of setting, and final adjustment to within ±0.1°C (±0.2°F) can be made. Test temperatures of up to 150°C (302°F) can be selected. Temperature limit control permits the operator to select an over-temperature cutoff point to protect against accidental overheating. Control unit includes immersion heater, circulating stirrer, and temperature probe. Composition top plate rests on a 30.5 x 30.5cm (12 x 12") or 30.5 x 46cm (12 x 18") Pyrex® jar.
