This cone has an aluminum body, however the tip is hardened steel. Total weight: 35 grams. Usually used with 15 gram plunger to make a total weight of 50 grams. Used in U.S. Department of Agriculture test of preserves, jams, marmalades and sweet corn. It also is used in consistency tests of paste paints. Overall diameter: 2-5/8 inches; 3-1/8 inches long.
