Batch mill is specifically designed to carry out impact grinding of hard, brittle or non-elastic samples with a high grade 316 stainless steel beater. Grind pharmaceuticals, seeds, grains, coffee and other products quickly and easily. Rugged polycarbonate construction protects against chemicals and makes clean-up quick and easy. The integral blade grinds samples up to 6 Mohs in hardness. Unit features an indicator light and safety switch to protect against overheating and incorrect closure. Motor is rated for 300W and 28,000 rpm. Unit comes complete with a 100mL Makrolon grinding chamber. An optional 250mL grinding chamber is sold separately. A cutting blade may also be purchased separately for pulverizing soft, fibrous materials.
