Designed as a multiple extraction rack, but this unit is equally useful for digestions or for distillations. Consists of six individual cast aluminum hot plates 4-1/4 inches square with separate control rheostats. Each hotplate has a pilot light to indicate "on" operation. Wattage can be varied from 125 to 300 Watts; approximately 225° to 650°F. Housing is of polished stainless steel with the rheostats mounted on angled instrument panel. Overall dimensions; 30W x 11D x 36 inches high; 9 inches to top of hot plates. Complete with two vertical and two horizontal aluminum rods, twelve snap-in-extraction glassware clamps.
