The RapidVap Evaporation System combines gentle gyrating motion, heat and vacuum to quickly evaporate solvents from multiple biological or analytical samples. The microprocessor-controlled gyrating motion up to 1000 RPM causes the liquid sample to form a vortex configuration which helps prevent bumping and greatly increases the surface area, enhancing evaporation. A microprocessor controlled heater warms samples from ambient to 100°C. Rear-mounted vacuum port and electrical receptacle allow connection to a vacuum pump. Microprocessor-controlled programming also controls vortex speed, time from 1 to 999 minutes and vacuum level. Audible/visual alarm signals end point when detected by temperature sensors at heater and block. System consists of a glacier white and charcoal epoxy coated steel cabinet, a double impregnated epoxy coated cast aluminum chamber, a rear-accessible stainless steel drain port and glass lid with safety switch/alarm. Vacuum pump hose and clamps are provided. Vacuum pump and block are sold separately. Dimensions: 20.7"w x 18.4"d x 13.5" high. For 110V, 60Hz.
