The CentriVap uses centrifugal force and vacuum to rapidly evaporate solvents from biological or analytical samples. Centrifugation eliminates bumping and foaming, allowing complete recovery of solutes from sample volumes as small as a few microliters. The large corrosion-resistant chamber accommodates a variety of rotors holding sample containers from 0.5mL to 50 mL size. Heat may be set from ambient, to 100°C in one degree increments, eliminating the need for a separate lid or infrared heater. Microprocessor-controlled programming also controls run time from 1 to 999 minutes, heat time from 1 to 999 minutes and optional Heat Boost on/off. Dimensions: 13.75" wide x 18.3" deep x 11.2 high. The CentriVap Cold Trap traps moisture and solvent to protect the vacuum pump, its modular design permits the CentriVap Concentrator to be stacked atop it to conserve benchtop space. Stainless steel condenser collects up to four Liters of liquid. Condenser drain speeds clean up. Compressor lowers cold trap temperature to -55°C in less than 15 minutes and does not contain CFC's.
