An all-plastic washer for glass or quartz spectrophotometer cells. When attached to a vacuum source, the cell is held with the open end downward against a soft rubber cushion thus closing the vacuum system. Washing fluid is poured into the funnel and is drawn into a sharp spray which washes the cell and is drawn into the filtering flask. Continued pressure on the soft rubber cushion creates an air flow which dries the cell.
