A self-contained oxygen bomb calorimeter with automatic microprocessor control, for rapid and precise calorific tests with minimal operator attention. Excellent repeatability using either the classical equilibrium method, or a rapid dynamic method which reduce test time to 3 or 4 minutes after firing. The 6200 has a built-in automatic system for filling the bomb with oxygen. Temperatures are measured with a high precision electronic thermometer. A circulating water system maintains a forced flow around the bucket chamber. All steps in the test procedure are managed by a microprocessor control system. The LED display prompts the operator, gives status indication, data verification and report review. Includes six fuel capsules, fuse wire, 1108 oxygen bomb, and benzoic acid pellets.
